Bladderwrack is rich in iodine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and silicon and is also high in some B-complex vitamins. The high iodine content of the herb helps to support both healthy thyroid function and healthy metabolism.
It is good for convalescing and elderly horses, and can be used to support mobility
