Description

A healthy digestive system is at the heart of your horse’s well-being. Thunderbrook Gut Cleanse is formulated with a gentle, natural approach to help maintain gut health and comfort.

Over time, horses can accumulate sand, soil, partially digested fiber, and other toxins in their digestive tract due to environmental factors, aging, dental issues, or diet changes. If not properly cleared, these materials may disrupt digestion and lead to discomfort.

This veterinary-recommended blend harnesses the power of nature to promote digestive health:

  1. Psyllium Husk – A natural fibre that forms a gel-like consistency in the gut, helping to move debris through the digestive system.
  2. Slippery Elm & Meadowsweet – Traditionally used to soothe and coat the digestive lining, supporting gut integrity.
  3. Fennel, Spearmint & Chamomile – Gentle herbs that help promote comfortable digestion and relaxation.
  4. BioMos & Yeasacc – Natural prebiotics that support beneficial gut bacteria, helping digestion and nutrient absorption.
  5. Comfrey & Rosehip – Rich in antioxidants and plant compounds known to support gut tissue health.

To ensure optimal gut health, Thunderbrook Gut Cleanse is recommended as a 5-10 day course, twice a year. However, it can also be fed once a month if needed. If used continuously, the effect may be gentler, but this is still an option depending on your horse’s needs.

This complementary feed is particularly useful for:

  • Horses grazing on sandy or light soils, where the risk of sand accumulation is higher.
  • Older horses with natural wear and tear in their digestive tract.
  • Horses with digestive sensitivities, irregular manure consistency, or discomfort after feeding.

Please Note:  Not suitable for horses competing under FEI or racing rules.
