Hay Cobs 20kg

Description

***PLEASE NOTE***

Due to unprecedented demand for our Haycobs since the start of the year, we have struggled to keep up with production which has led to them being out of stock at some stores.  To help increase production, we have made a batch on an alternative production line, however these Cobs are slightly smaller, at 14 mm rather the normal 16mm.  These are made from the same grasses etc as our normal cobs, just slightly smaller.  These Cobs are in a plain brown sack.  This is a temporary solution to enable us to get caught up with production of the normal 16mm Cobs.

Analysis
Haycobs are a natural product. Over 50 varieties of Bavarian alpine grasses and herbs are cut from in excess of 1000 acres and there will be variations in the analyses due to number of cuts per year, time of cut, weather, location of field, etc.

The Analyses shown are therefore ranges across various batches.

Crude Protein 8.4%, Crude Fat 1.9%, Crude Fibre 20.6%, DE 11.13 MJ/kg, Sugar 7.6%, Starch 2%

When feeding HayCobs dry, feed them separately, not as part of a mash or sprinkled on top of a feed. Your horse must be able to chew them thoroughly.

If your horse is prone to choke, do not feed dry. Instead, soak thoroughly to make a mash before feeding.
For veterans or horses with poor dental condition HayCobs can be pre-soaked with warm water to make a tasty mash. As a mash, it can be used as a carrier for Thunderbrook Synergy, Daily Essentials or other supplements.
If soaking the HayCobs, we recommend that you soak them for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight, to make sure there are no hard centres left in the mash.
