Description
A complementary feed for equines, Thunderbrook Gut Guardian is a carefully crafted blend of premium botanicals traditionally used to support intestinal health and maintain optimal gut harmony. A horse’s digestive system is incredibly delicate, and maintaining a healthy, balanced gut environment is essential for overall well-being. Horses grazing on varied pastures or sharing tight social environments with others frequently experience micro-fluctuations in gut balance, making proactive digestive care essential.
Our formula offers a targeted, natural approach to supporting long-term intestinal health by utilizing an expertly selected blend of active botanicals known for their highly supportive, system-cleansing properties. Thunderbrook Gut Guardian is designed to be used monthly as part of your horse’s regular management routine, providing a natural, gentle defense mechanism completely free from artificial chemicals or synthetic additives.
Synergistic botanical action to create a hostile environment for internal challenges. Every herb in this advanced recipe is selected with a clear purpose to support the body’s natural defenses and disrupt undesirable internal life cycles. Regular monthly use helps to create and maintain a highly resilient intestinal tract, promoting robust overall digestive health, clean gastric lining, and stable microbial comfort in your horse.
To provide comprehensive structural support, this premium blend utilizes the following active ingredients:
- Thyme – known for its natural antibacterial properties, it stimulates the body’s natural defenses and creates an unpleasant environment for parasites.
- Pumpkin Seed – rich in an amino acid called cucurbitin, noted for its active anthelmintic actions to help expel tapeworms.
- Ginger – traditionally used to relieve symptoms of internal challenges, it actively promotes gastric juice secretion and stimulates a healthy appetite.
- Clove – contains potent natural compounds that effectively remove and neutralize eggs from the intestinal wall.
- Cinnamon Cassia – valued for its powerful antimicrobial properties, supporting a clean and balanced gut environment.
- Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) – contains bioactive compounds that help to suppress egg production and the development of intestinal challenges.
- Quassia – works synergistically with the other included botanicals to purge adult internal challenges from the digestive system.
- Fumitory – contains specialized natural compounds that show significant anthelmintic activity to protect the gut environment.
- Gentian – a powerful bitter herb that supports general digestive health and contributes to an unappealing environment for parasites.
- Horseradish – exceptionally high in Vitamin C to boost the immune system, containing glucosinolates that derive into protective allyl mustard oil.
- Aniseed – widely celebrated for its carminative properties to soothe the tract and support everyday digestive comfort.
- Cayenne Pepper – adds targeted internal stimulation to set up a hostile, unappealing environment for unwanted parasites.
- Tansy – a time-honoured traditional herb used for its supportive properties in maintaining a healthy, clean digestive system.
